The plant was given its name for its ability to prevent bleeding during delivery. Contrary to its name, it has many benefits for men too. It’s been used as a heart tonic since ancient times due to its ability to strengthen and not strain the heart.

- Used to relieve pain in the womb and menstrual disorders
- Used to treat heart problems, racing heart, and high blood pressure
- Stimulating and relaxing
- Can reduce symptoms of “cardiac anxiety” rapidly
- Calms the nerves
- Promotes appetite and digestion
- Can stimulate delayed or suppressed menstruation
- Can be used to treat over-active thyroids (hyperthyroidism)

Precautions | Due to its effects on the womb, it’s not recommended during pregnancy. It’s only advised within the last few days to stimulate labor with the support of a professional.

Our herbal products are delivered in either sealable bags or airtight glass jars. These herbs or mixes can be preserved for 6 months, or up to a year.
We recommend storing herbs in airtight glass jars for longer storage. They should also be stored in cool and dark spaces.
